We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Order Processing

• Orders are processed Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays.
• Orders placed before 2:00 PM AEST are generally dispatched the same business day if all items are in stock.
• Orders placed after the daily cut-off time, on weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next business day.
• During peak periods, processing may take an additional 1–2 business days.

Shipping Within Australia

We ship Australia-wide using trusted courier services and Australia Post.

Estimated delivery times:

• Metro Areas: 2–5 business days
• Regional Areas: 3–7 business days
• Remote Areas: 5–10 business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to weather events, courier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, parcel size and weight.

From time to time we may offer free shipping promotions. Any promotional shipping offers will be clearly displayed on our website.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking information.

Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to become active.

Authority to Leave

If you choose to give the courier authority to leave your parcel without a signature, AEC – Auto Electrical Components cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage after the parcel has been delivered.

Incorrect Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping details are correct before completing your purchase.

If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, contact us immediately. While we will do our best to assist, we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed or dispatched.

Additional shipping charges may apply if an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

If your parcel appears to be delayed beyond the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact us and we will investigate with the shipping carrier.

While we will assist wherever possible, delivery delays caused by the carrier are outside of our control.

Damaged Deliveries

If your order arrives damaged:

1. Take clear photographs of the parcel and damaged item(s).
2. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
3. Do not dispose of the packaging until your claim has been assessed.

We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Out of Stock Items

Occasionally an item may become unavailable after your order has been placed.

If this occurs, we will contact you to offer one of the following options:

• Wait for the item to be restocked.
• Receive a suitable alternative (where available).
• Receive a refund for the unavailable item.

International Shipping
