More about our DTP Series

The Deutsch DTP Series is a power connector designed for high-current applications requiring the proven reliability and environmental sealing of the Deutsch system with the added capability of handling larger wire gauges and higher amperage loads. DTP connectors are rated at 25 amps continuous and are available in 2-cavity and 4-cavity in-line configurations, along with 4-cavity flange-mount receptacles. The DTP Series is specifically suited to accessories like fuel pumps, cooling fans, auxiliary lighting, heating systems, and other power loads where a sealed, multi-pin power connector is needed.

DTP connectors accept larger wire gauges than the DT or DTM Series, accommodating 10–14 AWG wiring to handle the current demands of power applications. Like all Deutsch connectors, the DTP Series features environmentally sealed thermoplastic construction, silicone wire seals, and operating temperature tolerance from -55°C to +125°C. The connector's design uses the same general Deutsch assembly principles as the DT Series, making it familiar to technicians already working with Deutsch systems in the field.

Minespec NSW stocks DTP Series connectors, power contacts, and associated accessories for customers building or repairing harnesses in mining vehicles, commercial vehicles, and heavy-duty industrial equipment. If your application requires both signal-level and power connections in the same harness, the DTP Series works alongside DT and DTM Series connectors for a complete, consistent connection system throughout the vehicle.
