More about our Junction Blocks
Junction blocks are fixed electrical distribution components that provide a central connection point for multiple circuits in a vehicle or equipment electrical system. Unlike modular terminal blocks, junction blocks typically have a fixed number of connection positions built into a single moulded housing, providing a compact, plug-in style distribution point for vehicle harness branches. Junction blocks simplify harness construction by centralising the distribution of power and signal circuits to multiple destinations, reducing the number of individual cable runs and simplifying harness routing.
In mine-spec vehicle builds, junction blocks are used at key harness distribution points — cab-to-body harness junctions, engine bay distribution points, and accessory power distribution locations throughout the vehicle. The plug-in design of many junction block systems allows harness sections to be easily connected and disconnected for vehicle service, simplifying the work of disassembling and reassembling vehicle electrical systems during maintenance and repair.
Minespec NSW stocks junction blocks and distribution blocks for automotive and light industrial harness construction applications. Our team can assist with junction block selection and placement planning for mine-spec vehicle builds where clean harness architecture and service accessibility are important design requirements.
