More about our Superseal

The TE Connectivity AMP Superseal connector family is one of the most widely specified sealed connector systems in automotive, agricultural, and industrial applications worldwide. Designed to exceed IP67 sealing requirements according to IEC 60529 and DIN 40050-9 standards, Superseal connectors provide proven waterproof and vibration-resistant connectivity for underhood, chassis, and sensor applications in harsh environments. With housings manufactured from Polyamide 6.6 with glass-filled fibre reinforcement, the Superseal system offers excellent mechanical strength combined with chemical resistance to the fluids commonly encountered in automotive and industrial environments.

The core Superseal 1.5 Series supports wire-to-wire and ECU connections across 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6-way configurations, with contacts rated to 14 amps continuous across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The system is qualified for sensor applications and compatible with engine compartment, under-hood, and other sealed inline applications where both water resistance and vibration resistance are essential. Superseal connectors are found as OEM fitment on agricultural machinery, off-road vehicles, and commercial transport equipment throughout Australia and globally.

Minespec NSW stocks AMP Superseal connectors, housings, contacts, and wire seals for workshop fitout, harness fabrication, and OEM replacement applications. Whether you're repairing original-equipment Superseal connections or specifying Superseal for a new harness build, our range has the components required for a complete, professional assembly.
