More about our Metri-Pack
Metri-Pack connectors are a sealed and unsealed automotive connector system originally developed by Delphi Packard (now Aptiv) and widely used as OEM fitment across automotive, agricultural, marine, and industrial machinery applications. The Metri-Pack system uses internationally standardised male blade sizes with blade widths from 1.5mm to 8mm and current capacity from 14 to 60 amps, providing a versatile connection system suitable for a broad range of circuit types within a single product family. Metri-Pack connectors are designed for compatibility with automated pull-to-seat and push-to-seat assembly techniques, dual-stage crimping, and load cell crimp inspection.
The Metri-Pack range includes both sealed and unsealed configurations. Sealed versions feature triple-rib peripheral silicone rubber seals that provide environmental protection against moisture, dust, and chemicals — meeting or exceeding the requirements for marine, appliance, and industrial control applications. Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) and Connector Position Assurance (CPA) technologies ensure secure terminal retention and vibration resistance. Operating temperature range covers -40°C to +125°C. Metri-Pack systems with silver interface platings pass the SAE J2030 Heavy-Duty Electrical Connector Standard.
Minespec NSW stocks Metri-Pack connectors including the popular 150 Series, along with associated contacts, seals, and tools. Metri-Pack connectors are found as OEM fitment on many GM vehicles and John Deere equipment, making our stock an important resource for fleet maintenance operations and auto electricians requiring genuine-specification replacement connectors for these platforms.
