More about our DTM Series

The Deutsch DTM Series is a miniature environmentally sealed connector system designed specifically for low-amperage applications where space is limited. The "M" designation stands for Miniature — DTM connectors use size 20 contacts rated for 7.5 amps continuous per circuit, making them the preferred choice for sensor connections, instrumentation circuits, ECU applications, and other signal-level wiring in harsh environments. Available in 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 12-cavity configurations, the DTM Series offers the same application flexibility as the full-size DT Series in a more compact package.

DTM connectors feature enhanced silicone rear wire seals and interfacial seals that deliver full environmental protection against moisture, dust, and temperature extremes from -55°C to +125°C. Thermoplastic shells moulded from flame-retardant, impact-resistant material ensure the connector housing maintains its integrity even in the demanding conditions found under hoods, on engine compartments, and throughout mining and agricultural equipment. Durability testing confirms consistent performance beyond 100 mating cycles, making DTM connectors suitable for connections that may require periodic maintenance access.

Minespec NSW stocks the DTM Series in a range of cavity configurations, along with the associated size 20 contacts, wire seals, wedgelocks, and backshells. For applications requiring both DTM and DT Series connectors in the same harness, our team can help you specify the complete connector system across all circuit types.
